The quirky upstairs/downstairs suite was a unique experience that we loved.
We found that the pillows were a tad soft for our liking.

A Hidden Gem in Ambleside
Woke up to a delightful breakfast spread and a warm atmosphere. The pool and sauna were perfect for unwinding after a day of hiking. The staff always had a smile!
The pillows were slightly softer than I prefer, making it a bit difficult to get my ideal sleep. it didn't significantly affect my rest.

We had an amazing 3-night stay and absolutely loved lounging in the indoor swimming pool and relaxing in the hot tub after a day out. The large and cozy room was perfect, but the pillows were a bit softer than we prefer, though it didn’t ruin our sleep at all. Definitely take advantage of the delicious breakfast spread. it’s a must-have each morning! 😊

We loved lounging by the pool and enjoying the sauna, making it a relaxing getaway. The fridge was a bit small for our snacks, but everything else was spot on, definitely coming back! 😊

Bright and fresh garden room with plenty of space for two Irish Wolfhounds. Enjoyed the king-sized bed which provided an incredibly comfortable sleep, and breakfast was a delicious made-to-order experience with a variety of choices.
Pillows seemed a bit soft, which might not suit everyone’s taste, but they didn’t ruin sleep quality. The surrounding area can get busy, especially during peak times, so be prepared for some noise if you're a light sleeper. Although we had everything we needed, I wished for a bit more variety in room amenities, as personal preferences can vary widely.
